V International Skylight Prize for illustration
Bases of participation
This contest is aimed at illustrators from all countries. Are requirements: that the participant is of legal age and that the illustrations are unpublished or unpublished, and have not been nominated or sent to other competitions that fail in close dates.
The artists own their works. In case of being winners, they will sign a contract for which they will receive seven million pesos (COP 7,000,000) to develop the illustrations of a book that Tragaluz will publish.
Topic
The main image of this year is the house. We have just built a house in Medellin that houses the editorial along with other spaces designed for our community of readers, illustrators, curious, fans of the editorial ... In addition to our offices, the house has a coffee shop, a gallery, a classroom of workshops and a coworking area.
As we embarked on this project, we took on the task of imagining a house with each one of its rooms, thinking about what we wanted to do in space, how we would inhabit it, what history we should have ...
This year's invitation is to draw what is a house for you. How it looks, who inhabits it, what makes it the place they always want to return to.
