the Kuala Lumpur Illustration & Visual Arts Fair 2026 (KLIF) offers an outstanding platform for illustrators, designers, and international artists to present their work. This dynamic event provides space for showcasing artworks, direct sales, workshops, and networking with more than 19,000 visitors, publishers, creative agencies, and collectors.

The fair invites illustrators and creative artists working in traditional and digital illustration, illustrated books, collage, tattoo art, doodle art, and character IP (visual identity of characters) to exhibit their work on this international platform.

Submitted works will be reviewed by a professional jury consisting of academic experts, advertising agency directors, and artists specializing in experimental and installation art. Artists may participate individually or as a group.

Application Fee

Applying to participate in the event is free of charge.


If selected and interested in setting up an exhibition booth, fees apply as follows:

  • Individual Booth: 700 MYR + 600 MYR refundable deposit
  • Art Room: Suitable for art collectives/group showcases: 990 MYR + 600 MYR refundable deposit

Required Documents

  • Completed online form on the organizer’s website
  • Artist CV or short biography
  • 5–10 samples of illustration works (portfolio)
  • Art collectives may submit collaged images showcasing works of participating artists
  • Short description of artistic style or concept (optional)
  • Contact information and links to social media or personal website
  • Short artistic statement (optional)

Eligibility

  • Open to artists worldwide with no age restrictions
  • Applicants may apply individually or as a collective/studio of up to 4 members
  • All artworks must be original and created by the applicant(s)
