SUBMISSION DATE AND ADDRESS
The posters are to be sent in digital format to the address

between 1 August and 30 November 2020.
Payment of the registration fee and the registration of information will close at 10 pm (22 hrs) CET on 30 November 2020.
The uploading of the poster files will close when the date changes in the last time zone.
WORKS SUBMITTED FOR THE EXHIBITION AND ENTRY FEE
All the posters need to have been published after 1 January 2018.
Theminimum size for accepted postersis 42 x 60 cm and themaximum sizeis 120 x 180 cm. The Lahti Poster Museum reserves the right to exclude from the exhibition posters smaller or larger than these dimensions.
An individual artist or group of artists may upload a maximum offour postersin digital format to the address
www.lahtipostertriennial2021.fi.
The format for the poster documents is as follows:
Long side 3508 pixels | JPG | RGB | 300 dpi.
There is an entry fee of €20 per artist/artist group. Four posters can be submitted with payment of the €20 fee.
Educational institutions are requested to contact lahtipostertriennial@gmail.com.
The Competition Committee will select the posters for the exhibition from the submitted image files.
The paper versions of posters accepted for the exhibition in all the series (A, B and C) are to be sent no later than 28 February 2012 to the Lahti Poster Museum, P. O. Box 113, 15111 Lahti.
THE POSTAL PACKAGE IS TO BE MARKED “NO COMMERCIAL VALUE”.
The material will remain in the collections of the Poster Museum.
EXHIBITION CATALOGUE
The exhibition catalogue will cost €50 when ordered in advance. The price includes postage to all countries.
SELECTION
The posters for the exhibition will be selected by the Competition Committee. The prize-winning posters will be selected by the International Jury.
EVALUATION CRITERIA
Prizes will be awarded to posters meeting high requirements with regard to creativity, originality, aesthetic quality, and communicative function.

Grand Prix 5,000 €
The Grafia Tapani Aartomaa Prize 4,000 €
The Lauri Tarasti Prize for Environmental Posters 4,000 €
The Lahti Prize 3,000 €
The Special Prize of the Asko Foundation 3,000 €

The jury may also award other prizes.
RULES
1.An entry fee of €20 per registered participant is charged for taking part in the Poster Triennial of 2021. The fee is paid in connection with registration at the web address
www.lahtipostertriennial2021.fi. Four posters can be submitted with the payment of the €20 fee.
2.Following payment of the entry fee, the poster files will be received injpg formatat the web address
www.lahtipostertriennial2021.fi.
An entry form on the webpages is to be filled out, giving the name and contact information of the designer/group of designers, date(s) of birth, the dimensions of the poster (height x width in cm), the category of the poster, the year when it was designed, the client, the title of the poster and its translation in English.
3. Posters accepted for category C are required to be previously published.
4.The organising committee reserves the right to move individual posters to a different category than the one for which the designer has submitted it.
5. The print technique of the posters accepted for the exhibition can be freely selected in all the categories.
6. The registration information shall be filled in carefully. The submitted information will be used in the catalogue of the Lahti Poster Triennial. The organisers of the competition will not be responsible for information given in the entry form.
7.The organisers are entitled to stage exhibitions of the submitted entries in Finland and elsewhere. The organisers have the right to reproduce submitted posters for information and publication purposes, for educational purposes and for marketing without payment of compensation.
In addition, the organisers have the right to reproduce works submitted for the competition in the exhibition catalogue, in other printed matter and in digital format, and to distribute them to the public via the internet, social media and other information networks.
8. The posters and visual materials are not returned and will remain in the collections of the Lahti Poster Museum.
9. The posters accepted for the exhibition must not be framed or mounted.
10.The accepted posters must be packaged carefully. The organisers are not responsible for damage during transport.
11.The accepted participant pays all shipping and insurance costs to the destination, Collections Centre of the Lahti City Museum.
12. Participants will be informed of being accepted for the exhibition. The results of the competition will be announced and the prizes will be awarded at the opening of the exhibition.
The opening date will be specified at the latest in the spring of 2021, when the schedule for the completion of the new museum is confirmed.
13.All participants who have submitted posters are cordially welcome to the opening of the exhibition.
