MA-g Awards 2025
The MA-g Awards represent a special recognition of today’s creativity in the field of graphic design, photography and illustration.
To make this happen, every year the Museum of Avant-garde invites three acclaimed and multi-awarded artists, who have been pioneers in their respective fields and promoters of their art in the world. These artists partner up with The Museum as exclusive Judges in their discipline – so that every year the awards take on the name of the Judge collaborating on that edition. As the Judges change for each edition, their Awards are truly a ‘one in a lifetime’ opportunity for participants to be judged by these living legends.
Furthermore, the winning artworks and the shortlisted artworks will become part of the contemporary collection of the Museum and will be displayed online and in the Museum future exhibitions.
This year the MA-g is honoured to introduce three extraordinary judges and awards:
- The 2025 Antana Sutkus MA-g Awards for photography
- The 2025 Guy Billout MA-g Awards for illustration
- The 2025 Rosmarie Tissi MA-g Awards for graphic design
The Museum of Avant-garde protects and promotes the legacy of the avant-garde, the movements, art groups, and individual artists, who contributed with their beliefs and their work to shape the cultural and social scene and redefined our comprehension of art.
The MA-g Awards are a yearly appointment to pay tribute to creativity in graphic design, illustration and photography in the form of their artistic or commercial nature.

- Series entry: 100 CHF
- Illustration
- Single entry: 50 CHF

Early bird submissions benefit from a 10% discount on all entry fees. Deadline for early bird discount is set on 31st March 2025 at 10pm UTC.
Students can benefit of 50% discount on the entry fees for the relevant discipline and category.
To promote equal participation and inclusiveness, the MA-g offers entrants from top 100 poorest countries in the world a 50% discount off their entry fees, which are automatically calculated.
