The 2023 China International Poster Biennial is open for submissions to the 11th event, that will take place in Hangzhou, China in November 2023.

Incepted by the West Lake in Hangzhou, China in 2003, the China International Poster Biennial (CIPB) represents China’s highest-level poster design competition, and ranks among the most sought-after poster competitions and exhibitions in the global graphic design community.

Multiple awards will be announced and endowed to the creators of the best poster designs. The best design will be awarded with a Grand Prix.

CIPB 2023 is open for the following types of poster designs:

1. Cultural posters
2. Public-interest posters
3. Commercial posters

Eligible for submission are poster designs created after 2021. by designers, design groups, design organizations and students worldwide.

CIPB 2023, hosted by China Academy of Art (CAA) and the Zhejiang Artists Association (ZAA) and organized by the Visual Communication School of CAA and the Graph Design Committee of ZAA, seeks to exhibit what poster designers have achieved in diversification and innovation-oriented exploration, and to drive cultural communication and exchanges within the global graphic design community.

The greatest influencers from the global graphic design community will be invited to form a jury. Winners of all its awards will be selected in strict accordance with international best practices, at the jury’s sole, final discretion.
