Ras Al Khaimah Art 2026 Festival: Civilizations
Ras Al Khaimah (RAK) Art 2026 Festival invites artists to explore the theme “Civilizations – A Journey Through Time and Culture“.
The 2026 Festival seeks to celebrate both the magnificent diversity of human cultural expression and the universal aspirations that bind us together. From ancient wisdom to contemporary visions, from technological marvels to sustainable practices, from individual experiences to collective memories ─ we ask you to consider: What endures when civilizations meet and merge? What falls away? And most importantly, what new forms of art, beauty and understanding emerge from this continuous dialogue?
Submit your work and be part of a global celebration of heritage, creativity, and artistic expression in Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates.
The best two works in each competition category will be awarded with a cash prize and trophy.
Submission categories include:
- Visual Arts & Photography
- Sculpture & Installation — Open to artists working in three-dimensional formats
- Student Art (K–12) — Open to students in kindergarten through 12th grade for up to 3 digital artworks per student
Submitted works must be suitable for outdoor exhibition and withstand environmental conditions.
Following the success of its inaugural edition in 2024, the Ras Al Khaimah Art Contemporary Art Exhibition returns as a bi-annual celebration of cutting-edge creativity and global artistic exchange. Showcasing original works by a curated selection of international artists, the fair offers a dynamic platform for collectors, curators, and art lovers to discover new voices and bold visions from across the world.
