Application is open for the 18th Arte Laguna Prize, the world’s most influential competition for emerging artists and designers.

The Prize is open to everyone, with no restrictions of age, gender, nationality or any other qualifications. Artworks may have been previously exhibited. The theme is free.

The jury will select the 120 finalists who will compete for the 10,000 Euro prize and will have the opportunity to exhibit in the evocative 4,000 square meters of the Arsenale Nord in Venice. Several Special Prizes will be announced as well.

The Arte Laguna Prize competition is open for the following artistic disciplines:

With 18 years of history, Arte Laguna Prize offers the opportunity to join the huge network of collaborations around the world. Exhibition of the finalist artists in the breathtaking location of the Arsenale of Venice and much more.

Arte Laguna Prize is organized annually with the patronage of the the Ministry of Culture, the Ministry of Ecological Transition, the Veneto Region, the Municipality of Venice, Ca’ Foscari University of Venice, RUFA Rome University of Fine Arts; it obtained a medal from the President of the Italian Republic and recognition by important members of the Advisory Council.

Entry Fees

The entry fee is 80 Euro + 22% VAT for artists under 35 and 100 Euro + 22% VAT for artists over 35.

The fee allows the applicants to submit 5 works.
