Watershed Studio`s Open Call
We are now accepting applications on an ongoing basis! Spaces are filling up quickly, so please send your application as soon as possible. If your thinking of a last-minute residency, give us a call; we may have space as we have recently expanded.
We provide a studio space that has been converted from an old fish factory and old Hay shed that is suitable for all types of artists and is very versatile. We also provide a living area for the artists, three people at a time per cottage. Each Cottage is newly refurbished with 3 rooms with a living space with a kitchenette and is only one minute walk to the studios.
The Space has beautiful undisturbed views of the river Corrib and fields surround the studio. Which makes it a perfect location for an artist that wants a break and a place to escape and have some time to think, relax, and do work.
The residency hosts 6-9 artists and has proven to be a great place to meet and work with international artists and local artists.

A private room in a shared house and access to a 24hr studio.

Shared workspace, 24hrs and a private studio on request.
Fees and support
We do not provide funding at this point. The monthly fee includes all bills and a private room and studio space with great wifi. Also, access to the Cleggan pier cottage depends on availability.
Expectations towards the artist
Artist Talk, Open house, and option to be included in an exhibition.
